I worked at a Baptist summer camp over the summer. Every week (to my disgust) they’d tell the kids that Christians were the only group of people to truly do good deeds. They taught that as Christians they were called to “show God’s love” and because of this, they are the only group in the world who do good deeds with no ulterior motive. They legitimately believed that every non-christian who did good was only doing so in the hopes that they’d receive something in return.
To that I say: Bull crap. Every good person is going to be a good person regardless of their religious affiliation.
